Een hokker is een enkelvoudige grote brander, meestal op gas maar ook beschikbaar op elektra, die in de horeca wordt gebruikt voor de bereiding van voedsel in grote pannen zoals gamellen. Het vermogen van de brander is hoog: tussen de 5 en 15 kW.
